Animal Evaluation, Sales Terms & Shipping Disclaimer
These terms apply to all cattle sales through Best of Intentions Ranch (B.O.I. Ranch).
Prospect Definition
The term “prospect” reflects the seller’s personal assessment of the animal and should not be interpreted as a promise or guarantee of future development, performance, or potential.
Registration of Birth / Unregistered Status
The designation “unregistered” means the animal has a certificate of birth but still requires full registration per TLBAA or ITLA guidelines.
Height Disclaimer
B.O.I. Ranch does not guarantee the animal’s height at maturity. Any height provided is based on personal evaluation, opinion, or an actual pasture measurement at the time of assessment.
Breeding Status (“Exposed”)
The term “exposed” indicates that the animal has been exposed for breeding; however, pregnancy is not guaranteed. A veterinary examination can be arranged at the buyer’s request and expense to confirm pregnancy status.
Shipping & Deposit Policy
Shipping outside of Texas requires specific paperwork and is the financial responsibility of the buyer beyond the listed price of the cow or bull. These costs must be paid in advance and are non‑refundable. This includes veterinary checks, vaccinations, health certifications, and any additional testing required by the purchaser or destination state.
A non‑refundable deposit is required before preparation for shipment begins. This deposit ensures the animal is removed from sale listings and marked as a pending purchase.
The remaining balance must be paid in full before the animal is loaded for transport.
If an animal fails to meet state shipping regulations or does not pass required health certification, all deposits will be refunded for that animal only, and only if failure is determined by a licensed veterinarian or per state regulations.
Delivery Policy
Free delivery is available within Texas and up to 100 miles from B.O.I. Ranch (Grandview, TX) for full‑price purchases only. Delivery for discounted purchases can be negotiated.
Health & Hoof Care
All standard vaccinations will be discussed prior to transfer. Not all cattle are current on yearly vaccinations. All mature females have received BANGS vaccinations and are tagged and tattooed.
Hoof length reflects current pasture growth. B.O.I. Ranch does not provide prepaid hoof trimming. Animals are sold with their existing hoof length at the time of purchase.
